The author of the will must sign the will in the presence of both witnesses. The witnesses cannot have any formal ties to MF.Both witnesses must be over 18 years of age and be physically present simultaneously.Must be signed by two witnesses approved by the author of the will.Must contain the correct name of the recipient: The Norwegian School of Theology (MF).The formalities that must be followed are not many but those that exist are all the more important to abide by. On the other hand, it is unpleasant when a donation is not given to the desired cause of the deceased due to the formal requirements of a formal will not having being followed. There are a few important formalities to follow to make sure that the last wishes of our friends can be honoured.Īt MF we have been somewhat reluctant to inform about testamentary donations because we have been afraid that such information can be perceived as unwanted pressure. Testamentary donations fill us with gratitude and warm thoughts. Such gifts truly reveal to us people who believe in the work that MF performs. Receiving donations that express a friend of MF's "last wishes" is always very special. This we pray, our God and Father! Alternative Giving We pray that you continue to call new people to studies and ministry, so that Your commission can be continued in faithfulness and prudence. Give the students and employees insight in faith and love for God and man. Let MF continue to be a good institution where people can be equipped for ministry. Loving God! We pray for the Norwegian School of Theology (MF) and thank you for everything that MF means in church and society. Suggested prayer during a church service: We therefore highly recommend this thanksgiving offering. MF desires to take this challenge seriously. Assuredly, there will be a need for more priests, catechists, youth workers and deacons in the church in years to come. MF needs both our church's prayers and donations to be able to give young adults a full education that meets the needs of the church in the future. MF will provide these students with a solid education and a thorough preparation to their church ministry. There is currently also a large group of students who are studying to become youth workers through the programme Youth, Culture and Faith. Several of these have chosen to study theology most with the goal towards a future ministry as priests in the Church of Norway. Today there are more than 1100 students at MF. Many missionaries and workers in Christian organisation have also studied at MF. MF educates priests, catechists, deacons, youth workers and teachers in RLE. Our thanksgiving offering today goes to the Norwegian School of Theology (MF). Suggested announcement in connection with an offering collected for the Norwegian School of Theology: Church offerings are very important for us to be able to raise this amount. We are therefore dependent upon collecting 5 - 6 million Norwegian kroner per year to sustain the quality of our academic programmes. Since MF is a private educational institution, the Government support we receive is much lower than what public institutions receive. Thank you to all of the congregations that support MF through their offerings!
